Seward Small Boat Harbor: Enjoy daily tour boat departures, fishing trips, sailing adventures; visit the shops, or just enjoy the sights. Seward Museum: Permanent displays of area history from Russian and Native residents, and pre-statehood days to the present. Daily showings of film clips and stills from the 1964 earthquake are a must see. Historic Downtown District/Kawabe Park: Stroll down towards the sea and enjoy the diverse offerings of the downtown retail shops, some of which have been in business for almost a hundred years. The Alaska Sealife Center: Research, Rehabilitation, Education and Conservation are the missions of the Center. Marvel at incredible up close views of northern sea mammals, birds and fish. Seward Community Library: Internet access, quiet reading nooks, Alaskana, DVD’s and video. Waterfront R.V. Park: RV campers along the waterfront enjoy the ultimate views. Seward Parks & Recreation Department provides hook ups, picnic tables, and a waterfront walking/bike path with interpretive signage throughout. |
